Yup. I've been laid off... it will be official just 4 days after my 4 year anniversary with the company. How's that for irony? :) At least I have another 3 weeks of my leave that will be honored (which they claim they're honoring for me, although they have no legal obligation. Really? I find that hard to believe, but who knows.) and then I will have a severance package as well. At least I have some time to wrap my head around not having an income any longer. Hopefully I'll track down some wonderful job that I can do from home, at odd hours that pays really well. Something tells me I won't get ALL those things in one job.
Oh well... I'm still a firm believer in the belief that all things, no matter how sh*tty, happen for a reason. So there must be something wonderful awaiting me, just around the corner. I'm all-a-tingle with anticipation! ((insert eye roll here))
