Some pics of the little man... and our kitchen plan

We had our first meeting today with our new OB. The practice & the Doc were great. I'm so happy I decided to go ahead and make the switch... even if I am almost halfway through this pregnancy. :)

We got to see our little guy again today for the first time in about 6 weeks. He was moving the ENTIRE time! All I could think was "Uh oh! I'm so in for it." I hope he's not a total wild child. lol

In case there was any doubt... it's a boy. :)











In other news... we finally have a plan for the kitchen. The floors will remain the maroon concrete, we'll bring the same color from the family room into the kitchen, the cabinets will be white and the countertops (quartz) will be a white/tan sort of mix. That is of course if the estimate to have the cabinets painted and the quote for the countertops aren't sky high!

Hopefully this is what it will look like... well, the color scheme/materials anyway. Unfortunately we aren't changing the wonky layout of our kitchen. I'll have to live with the fact that I can't open the misc utensils drawer unless I open the dishwasher first.


*Edited to add that I still really love this combo too; white cabinets and the white marble look quartz countertop. This is the current color of our kitchen.


It would work perfectly, but it does feel a bit more formal than the tan combo. I think the warm, casual feel of the tan combo probably fits our home better. Either option will be beautiful and I'll just be SO excited to have a nice pretty new kitchen. Fingers crossed.
