Pretty Projects & Playtime

I've been trying to figure out how to make McKenna's nursery a bit more "girly". I bought the three little doggie prints because they reminded me of Koal & Stella, but the fact is they are kind of boyish. Add a pair of brown curtains and it really starts to look like a little boys room. So... as McKenna and I were having a little playtime in the nursery today I decided to rummage through my craft stuff and see what ideas I might come up with. The end result was a fancier lamp and some flowery dogs! :) It was fun to do some crafts again... I haven't had a "craft night" in ages.

Here is a shot of the prints & curtains before... looking boyish... and then a picture of the finished canvases and fancy lamp. :) I haven't been able to put the canvases back up because McKenna is sleeping, so I'll take more pics tomorrow. Here are some "before" shots of the nursery and the canvases before I "girled them up".

*Edit - I've added photos of the finished canvases up on the wall to the end of this post!
