Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th from my little sweeties!


At the last minute we decided to rent a cabana at Camelback Inn.  This was the view from our cabana.





After we had dumped all of our "stuff" everywhere!  :)  We didn't get there until after noon and McKenna had not yet had her nap.  We attempted to get her to lay down and sleep in the cabana.  Yeah.  That wasn't happenin'. 


The little man slept for a while though.  


He and I relaxed in the cabana while McKenna got some pool time with Daddy and Lisa.






Eventually I moved him into his stroller in the hopes that I could trade off with Daddy and get a little pool time myself.





All was well until McKenna started (in her no-nap-induced state) pitching a fit and woke him up.  He slowly unraveled after that and I eventually threw both kids in the car (I did get about 10/15 min or so in the pool) and went for a drive so that they would sleep.  They were asleep before I even got out of the parking lot!  lol
