Today, November 8th, 2009, you are 9 months, 2 weeks and 5 days old.
*At your last doctor appointment on Oct. 22nd, you weighed 21.7 lbs & measured 29.5 inches. I think you weigh more now. My shoulder aches at the end of every day from carrying your precious little hiney around all day.
*You are wearing mostly 12 month clothing.
*You eat 1/2 cup of oatmeal mixed with applesauce and cinnamon for breakfast most mornings. You love mac-n-cheese, macaroni & beef dinner (baby food) and pumpkin loaf!
*You usually sleep from 6:30 pm - 6:00 am and you are so happy in the morning.
*You have just started sleeping through the night (last week) and I actually miss you during the night. As tired as I was, I loved "our time" together in the wee hours of the morning.
*You can pull yourself up on just about anything these days and love it. You're just starting to experiment with letting go and standing on your own. You can do it, but I don't think you're aware of it just yet.
*I suspect you may be walking by Thanksgiving.
*You are such a happy girl and everyone who meets you thinks you are absolutely precious.
*You only cry when you are hungry, overly sleepy, or want your ma-ma :).
*You were a pumpkin for your first Halloween.
*You now have 6 teeth! 4 on the bottom (you got your first tooth during our trip to Encinitas, CA) and your two front teeth have both cut through.
*You've just started grinding your teeth. The sound is awful!
*You adore your doggies, Koal & Stella. Koal is your best bud. Stella, on the other had, heads in the opposite direction anytime you get within 2 feet of her.
*You "talk" constantly! You sound like you're having a conversation in your own little language. You say Da-da, Daddy, Dog, Doggie and once in a great while I hear what sounds like Ma-ma. Wishful thinking?
*Any time Craig comes in the room, you just light up with a huge grin and say "Da-da"! I'm fairly certain it turns him into a big ball of mush.
*You will be flying to Maryland for Christmas this year (your 1st Christmas) with Mommy & Daddy and you will get to meet your Great Grandmother, "Ma". I am beyond excited.
*You look exactly like your Mommy when she was a baby! Oddly enough you still look like your Daddy. lol
~ You have brought us more joy than we could have imagined possible! I can't wait to see your sweet face each morning and can't even begin to imagine all the wonderful times yet to come! ~
