I also had a Dr's appointment this morning and everything is still looking good! I got the results from my Glucose test (test for Gestational Diabetes) that I took last Friday. Anything under 139 is good.... I got a 99! My OB said that 99 is an average blood sugar level for a non-pregnant person. He told me that having this level after drinking the sugar drink (part of the test), while pregnant is pretty impressive. Yay me! Not that I really had anything to do with it. :)
I'm still measuring a little big (31 weeks vs. 29 weeks & 2 days), but he said it's nothing to worry about. I was measuring 3 weeks ahead at my last appointment, but after the ultrasound they told me that our baby girl was measuring right on track, as was my amniotic fluid, etc. I also got confirmation that many of the crazy things I've been experiencing lately are all pregnancy related and perfectly normal (I'm not convinced anything about pregnancy is really "normal"). The list includes; burning hip/buttock pain during the night, shooting hip pains and feeling like my leg is going to give out from under me...again in the night (when I get up to use the bathroom 35 times a night), numbness in my right hand for about an hour or two after I wake up in the morning, seeing spots in my peripheral vision when I bend over/sit down...and of course the heartburn and acid reflux. I'm a bit of a mess. lol But, I'm happy to deal with all knowing there is a healthy baby girl at the end of it all.
