I'm actually glad that we decided to go ahead and purchase everything this weekend seeing as there is a 10 to 12 week delivery time for all of the items we purchased. Everything will just barely arrive in time for us to get it all assembled and in place before our little girl arrives.
We decided to also purchase a glider while we were there. I wish I had remembered to snap a pic of the glider while we were in the store. We ordered in the same fabric as the display model; a kind of taupe/tan micro-fiber (looks/feels like suede) material. It’s really pretty. I found a pic of the chair online, but it's not shown in a very nice (in my opinion) color/fabric... which makes it look totally different. We ordered it with the plan to eventually transition it out into the family room vs. being stuck with a chair we no longer had a use for once it's time for it to come out of the nursery. So.... I love the chair, it's big (I hope it doesn't take up the whole room! lol) and comfy, and reclines to an almost flat position…which I’m sure will come in hand on those nights when one of us end up sleeping in the nursery!
Here is the recliner, but we ordered it in a a taupe/tan color material that looks like suede (but will be easy to clean spit-up, etc off of when needed!).
Oh... and I also got the Fleurville Mothership diaper bag 50% off! My plan has been to have one BIG bag that can carry everything and then one smaller one that is easier to tote around on short outings. I'm usually the type to get something in pink, but it was such a great deal.... and I am having a little girl, so what the h*ll, right?! This is the one I got... a solid pale pink.
