So I'm back from my appt. Uneventful (which is good)... measured my belly, took BP/urine, and listened to heart beat. They also took blood to check my thyroid levels and to test my AFP levels for open neural tube defects (yikes).
However... I'm so annoyed. He asks me "so have you had your big u/s yet?" (I loved that he called it the "big u/s" lol) I said "No, actually the NP requested that I schedule this appt first and the big u/s to follow", he looks at me funny and says "hmm, I don't care... actually, truth be told, I'd prefer you have the big u/s first so that I can review the results and discuss any findings with you." WHAT?!?! So you're telling me I could have found out the sex by now?!?! I wanted to pull my hair out. lol So, the count down to Monday begins.
